Benefits

  • Three member cards per school
  • Valid in the Deutsches Museum (Museumsinsel), Flugwerft Schleißheim, and Verkehrszentrum (Theresienhöhe)
  • Valid for one class, a group of pupils or several classes (plus one accompanying person per 10 pupils)
  • Three times a year the museum magazine Kultur & Technik
  • One time a museum guide Deutsches Museum, Flugwerft Schleißheim, Verkehrszentrum

Annual Fee

  • Membership fee € 0.60 per calendar year and per pupil (total number of pupils of the school)
  • Transmission of total number (as bindingly reported to the school department) to the Mitgliederservice annually obligatory at the beginning of the school year by 31 October at the latest
  • Visit of the special member tours, the "winter lectures", or the VRlab Proxy are not included in the fees (also not  the branch museums in Bonn or Nürnberg)
  • Contribution year corresponds to calendar year - regardless of the time of joining, the full annual contribution is always due - exception goodwill rule: during the last three months of a year, membership for the following year is possible, contribution due immediately, card is already valid from 1 October
  • School membership runs indefinitely with the calendar year, termination in writing required, at any time, no later than 31 October, with effect end of the calendar year

Conditions of Use

  • Free admission only on presentation of a valid member card
  • Teachers (individuals or small groups) can use the card for lesson preparation (presentation of informal, current school certificate required!)
  • School membership cards do not entitle to private use by teachers, pupils and/or family members
  • Changes or loss of a card must be reported to the Mitgliederservice without delay
  • In any event of misuse of the card, the Deutsches Museum reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately without refunding the fee
